With a bevy of residential, hospitality, and commercial projects under his belt, Brent has built up a signature style that’s equal parts of the moment and timeless. “I’ve always believed the ultimate form of luxury is personalization. It has nothing to do with budget,” Brent told AD. “Designing a space is, in actuality, the art of telling a story. Through vignettes, materials, client-conscious decisions, and historical references, there’s an opportunity to craft something that is deeply relevant, truly original, and unequivocally personal.”

“Jeremiah understood exactly what we wanted, but he also managed to push us out of our comfort zone,” said homeowner Kevin, who credits the designer for talking him into installing the antique black marble fireplace in the bedroom.

Berk, who had been with Queer Eye since its 2018 debut, shared the news that the latest season (available on Netflix now) would be his last in November. Fans speculated about a rift between the designer and his fashion expert cohost, Tan France, catalyzing the move. Berk, in a chat with Vanity Fair last month, admitted that he and France did “have a situation,” though he explained that the reasons for his departure are less than scandalous: Berk told VF that he and each of his fellow Fab 5 costars signed a contract back when the show began committing through September 2022, so he started scheduling future projects assuming the series would be wrapping by then.
