On a stormy night in NYC, an egg crashes into a rundown apartment, birthing a strange spider named Sting. Found by comic-loving 12-year-old Charlotte, Sting becomes her secret pet while her family struggles with a new baby. As Charlotte grows attached to Sting, the spider grows monstrously large, consuming pets then people. Soon, the building’s residents are trapped, hunted by a bloodthirsty giant arachnid. Only Charlotte knows how to stop it.
