Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and an established actress, has placed her Tudor-style cottage in Los Angeles’ Atwater Village on the market for just under US$1.6 million.

The move comes six years after Keough purchased the home for US$1.3 million, according to the Robb Report.

The cottage, a 1920s structure, has been described as a “modern interpretation of a classic Tudor home” by listing agents Todd Bachenheimer and Sherri Rogers of Compass.

It encompasses nearly 111sq m, featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and maintains the original charm with hardwood floors throughout.

The exterior of the home is adorned with dark-hued stucco and timber accents, set behind high hedges with a gated walkway leading through a private courtyard to an aquamarine-coloured front door.

Inside, the living room boasts a coved ceiling and a built-in bench under a picture window.

Adjacent to this is a dining area that leads to a kitchen equipped with frosted-glass cabinetry, subway tile backsplash, butcher block countertops, and modern appliances.

A notable addition is the converted attic space, now featuring a built-in daybed, a seating alcove, and shelving.

The primary bedroom offers French doors opening to a semi-circular deck, dual closets, and a bathroom with a custom vanity and soaking tub.

The property is less than a quarter-acre but includes a serene garden with fruit trees, a standalone sauna, and multiple spots ideal for outdoor entertainment.

There is also an attached garage with space for one vehicle.

Keough, 34, has had a prominent career in both film and television, starring in notable projects like The Good Doctor, Mad Max: Fury Road, and more recently the Hulu series Under the Bridge.

She gained significant attention and accolades for her role as Daisy in Daisy Jones & the Six.

Following her mother, Lisa Marie’s passing in 2023, Keough also became the sole owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises and the Graceland estate.
