Police are asking the public for help locating a suspect in a November fatal shooting in central Lubbock.
Robert Cervantes III, 21, is wanted in connection with a Nov. 29 shooting at a bar in the 1600 block of 50th Street, according to a statement from Lubbock police.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
According to LPD, officers were called out at 1:29 a.m. for a report of shots fired at the bar and where, upon arrival, 28-year-old Nick Rodela-Garcia was found with serious injuries. Rodela-Garcia was taken to via ambulance to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe Rodela-Garcia was involved in a verbal altercation with Cervantes, which escalated into a fistfight, at which time Cervantes allegedly produced a gun and shot Rodela-Garcia.

An arrest warrant charging Cervantes with murder was issued on Friday, Dec. 6.
Police advise that Cervantes is considered armed and dangerous and ask the public not to attempt to contact him. Anyone with information about this investigation or the location of Cervantes is asked to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
