McGrath Estate Agents has launched the new McGrath Armstrong Creek in regional Victoria, marking the group’s expansion into the attractive lifestyle precinct.

Experienced local real estate professionals Sam Parsons and Elisha Jackman will be co-principals, alongside Jim Cross, and they will be joined by their team of nine, including Hanley Parsons as operations manager, and lead sales agents Hayley Clark, Haxhi Abedin, and Quentin Walker.

McGrath Armstrong Creek will service the area from Mount Duneed in the north, to Freshwater Creek in the south, to Armstrong Creek in the east to Freshwater Creek in the west.

Co-principal, Jim Cross said he was delighted to welcome the new members of the talented team.

“This gives us an even greater reach throughout the southern corridor from Geelong to Torquay and beyond, allowing McGrath to service the growing number of clients through this high-growth corridor,” Mr Cross said.

“Our team remain focused on providing six-star service to our clients.

“We believe this partnership with Sam, Elisha and their entire team is very much aligned with our own ethos and work ethic.

“It’s a very exciting time for our business growth and future expansion plans.”

Co-principal, Sam Parsons said the local market had been very active.

“Armstrong Creek area and surrounds continues to experience a broad range of buyers, from first-home buyers to owner-occupiers that are upsizing their family homes,” Mr Parsons said.

“We also continuously see downsizers from larger homes in the Geelong and Torquay/Surf Coast region, seeking a lower maintenance lifestyle and more affordable homes.

“In the past four weeks, we’ve been experiencing an increase in buyer inspection enquiries and attendees, which is positively impacting sales numbers and values.”

He said that the Armstrong Creek area had seen a rise in newly built homes.

“In relation to our projects/land subdivision offering, we are extremely excited to be launching a range of new project options in large subdivision communities within the area over the next three to six months,” he said.

“These homes will be most popular amongst first-home buyers and investors, where they can enter the market for under $600,000.”

The Armstrong Creek property market has experienced a dynamic demographic mix as the area attracts young families, professionals and first-home buyers that seek modern amenities and a vibrant community atmosphere.

The evolving Armstrong Creek Town Centre serves as a focal point, driving economic growth and enhanced lifestyle opportunities.

The property market continues to be buoyant due to its affordability, infrastructure development and an attractive balance of urban amenities and its natural surroundings.

While the Surf Coast region is renowned for its pristine beaches and vibrant community, encompassing several charming towns and coastal villages.

McGrath Armstrong Creek will have a healthy rent roll with 230 properties under management.

Head of Franchise Network for McGrath, Chris Mourd, said they regarded Armstrong Creek as a wonderful and affordable lifestyle market that offered significant growth potential.

“Armstrong Creek and its surrounding suburbs is easily accessible to Melburnians, just 75 mins from their CBD, and 17 minutes from Geelong, the second largest city in Victoria,” Mr Mourd said.

“It also provides a good entry point to the Surf Coast, and beyond to the Great Ocean Road.”

Mr Mourd said importantly, such expansion into new areas must have proven franchise partners who are deeply immersed at a local level.

“In the past seven years since joining McGrath, Jim Cross and David Cortous have assembled a team that has had great success in growing their Geelong operation and have identified the Armstrong Creek corridor as being a priority for their expansion,” he said.

“It became clear to merge with such ideal local partners in co-principals Sam Parsons and Elisha Jackman, to successfully grow that footprint.”
