Multiple people were shot in Kansas City, Mo., near where the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade was concluding, and two armed people have been taken into custody, Kansas City police said Wednesday.
Police told those in attendance to evacuate the area after shots were fired west of Union Station, where the parade finished.
Officials cleared the area and released everyone inside Union Station, KCPD said in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
