Experienced duo Steven Messina and Nick Bourke are headed to MMJ Real Estate as the group moves forward with its strategic expansion.

National boutique real estate agency brand, MMJ (Martin Morris & Jones, originally established out of NSW in 1960) is undertaking a strategic expansion of its Melbourne agency business.

The commercial agency network, with offices in NSW, ACT, WA and established in Victoria in 2015, has recently appointed two industry veterans to its team, with the network’s agency expansion clearly on the agenda.

MMJ Melbourne, which has a successful, established management platform, having tripled its property management portfolio in the past nine years, has appointed as directors Steve Messina and Nick Bourke, who, together with industry stalwart Joel Wald, will drive the growth of the agency as it seeks to expand the Melbourne profile.

Industry veterans Mr Messina and Mr Bourke bring over 30 years experience each to the network, demonstrating MMJ’s focus on growing its presence in Melbourne.

With an impressive track record spanning over three decades in the commercial property industry, the pair bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will undoubtedly strengthen the organisation.

As highly regarded professionals, Mr Messina and Mr Bourke have made a significant impact on the commercial property landscape, with expertise in a diverse range of commercial property sectors, including office, retail, land and particularly mixed-use developments.

It is understood that the pair have concluded a substantial $2 billion in combined sales and acquisitions for clients over recent years, with Mr Messina thought to be behind the recent sale of a substantial 1.5ha parcel in Hawthorn, while Bourke has recently acquired land on behalf of a private family group for $15m in Melbourne’s north.
