Leicester City have completed the signing of defender Woyo Coulibaly from Parma.
The 25-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract after completing his £3million move from Serie A.
Coulibaly’s signing was announced ahead of Leicester’s home Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
The Frenchman was in the last six months of his four-year contract with the Italian side. He joined them in 2021 after beginning his career with Le Havre in France.
Coulibaly is predominantly a right-back but can also play left-back and will provide competition for James Justin in Ruud Van Nistlerooy’s squad.
He is the first signing of the January transfer window for the Dutchman, who is also looking to bring in a central defender and winger in this window.
Coulibaly made 88 appearances for Parma, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
