LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast, the largest agency on the NSW Central Coast, has rebranded to Knight Frank.

The announcement:

Knight Frank has increased its presence on the NSW Central Coast, with LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast rebranding to Knight Frank.

The partnership between LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast and Knight Frank comes more than a year after Knight Frank first increased its presence in the region, opening an office in Tuggerah at the end of 2022.

Since then Knight Frank’s Central Coast office has worked in conjunction with its long-standing Newcastle office to provide services to commercial real estate clients covering the region right up Port Macquarie and Armidale.

The rebranded Knight Frank office will be run by Principal and Licensee in Charge Ty Blanch, who has been operating the LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast office for 18 years.

Operating from two Central Coast locations, the team consists of 21 people providing primarily commercial property services, with one office situated at 401/1 Bryant Drive, Tuggerah, and the other at 87 Mann St, Gosford.

The agents in the office have a combined 100+ years of experience, with long-standing agents including Karen Aubrey, Brett Dowling, Anthony Scarcella and Robert Bose.

Mr Blanch said he was excited to announce the partnership with Knight Frank, a leading global brand in the real estate industry.

“This significant re-branding marks a pivotal moment for the Central Coast’s commercial property landscape, offering clients a trusted name coupled with expanded services,” Mr Blanch said.

Blanch emphasises that this re-branding goes beyond a name change.

“By partnering with Knight Frank, we can now offer a full-service agency including sales and leasing, asset management and the addition of property valuations and specialised retail and shopping centre asset management,” he said.

“The partnership also brings improvements to the agency’s infrastructure, including enhancements to its extensive database comprising over 40,000 businesses, investors, tenants, and related entities.

“With a new CRM system and upgraded IT capabilities, the agency is poised to deliver even greater value to its clients.”

Mr Blanch said his team had established themselves as the most trusted agents on the Central Coast, with their longevity being hugely advantageous, and the rebrand to Knight Frank would only strengthen that.

“With some members demonstrating over 22 years of unwavering dedication – an uncommon occurrence in our industry – we’ve built a culture of expertise and dedication that distinguishes us from our competitors,” he said.

“This represents an exciting chapter for us and our clients. With the combined strengths of our local expertise and Knight Frank’s global network we are well-positioned to serve the evolving needs of the Central Coast’s growing market.”

Ross Cooper, Managing Director of Knight Frank Newcastle, shares Blanch’s enthusiasm, having collaborated with him for over a year to explore the potential for growth and expansion on the Central Coast.

“This partnership cements Knight Frank as the largest corporate brand of commercial real estate between Sydney and Newcastle, setting a new standard for excellence in the region,” Mr Cooper said.

“The continued growth in the Central Coast market was key to our decision to enter into a partnership and expand Knight Frank’s presence in the region.

“Over the past few years people have viewed Newcastle and the Central Coast as a more desirable place to live, and population growth in the area has led to more activity from a business and commercial perspective.

“Along with this growth, we have seen more investors looking outside the major capital cities to these regional areas, therefore the decision to collaborate with a reputable team on the Central Coast to further capitalise on this growth was a straightforward one.

“The offices that are rebranding to Knight Frank are very well established on the Central Coast, having operated for the same time as our Newcastle office – for more than 20 years – and many of the agents have been there for that length of time too.

“We look forward to leveraging the experience and networks of the existing team to continue strengthening the presence of the Knight Frank brand and providing only the best service to our valued clients.”
