Keylor Navas has joined Argentinean club Newell’s Old Boys.
The 38-year-old, formerly of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, has not played since leaving the French club at the end of the 2023-24 season.
The goalkeeper is best known for his five-year spell at Madrid between 2014 and 2019, where he made 162 appearances and won 11 senior trophies including three Champions League titles.
In 2019, he joined PSG — where he was first-choice until the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma in 2021.

Navas began his career at Costa Rican club Saprissa before moving to Spain in 2010, initially joining second division side Albacete before moving to Levante the following year.
He spent three seasons at the Valencia-based club before his move to Madrid, initially as an understudy to Iker Casillas, and establishing himself as first-choice before the signing of Thibaut Courtois in 2018.
The Costa Rican also won 10 trophies at PSG, while he made 17 first-team appearances for Nottingham Forest during a loan spell in 2022-23.
Navas played at all three World Cups between 2014 and 2022 for his nation, for whom he was capped 114 times.
