Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks sustained a right ankle injury against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Monday night.

Hendricks went down with about six minutes left in the third quarter and the Jazz trailing 64-59. As he ran down the right side of the court with the Jazz on offense, his right leg appeared to give out and he collapsed to the ground. The game was delayed as he was taken off the court on a stretcher.

Hendricks, a second-year player from UCF, averaged 6.0 points and 6.0 boards through the Jazz’s first two games. He averaged 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds last season.
