Derrick Johnson, the celebrated former linebacker for the Texas Longhorns and Kansas City Chiefs, has put his luxurious estate in Austin’s esteemed Spanish Oaks gated community on the market.

Known affectionately as ‘DJ’ by his legion of fans, Johnson, who is also the founder and president of the Defend the Dream Foundation aimed at supporting low-income and inner-city youth, acquired this state-of-the-art home in 2018.

Six years on, the property is back on the market, with an asking price just shy of US$4 million, according to the Robb Report.
