Barcelona sporting director Deco is not ruling out the possibility of Xavi staying on as the club’s head coach beyond this season.
Xavi, 44, announced in January, his decision to leave his position as Barcelona head coach at the end of this season.
However, the Spanish side are yet to lose a game since Xavi’s announcement, winning seven of their last ten games in all competitions as well as progressing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The upturn in Barcelona’s form has prompted questions about a possible u-turn on Xavi’s decision.
