Colorado’s spring game is back on television, but it won’t be as easy to find this year. The Pac-12 Network will broadcast Colorado’s spring game at 1 p.m. local time on April 27, the program announced Monday.

ESPN aired last year’s snow-covered game, but the Buffaloes elected to host this year’s game on the same weekend as the NFL Draft and ESPN opted out of an encore.

Sanders said last month that Colorado was in talks with Fox and the Pac-12 Network to carry the game.

Colorado announced plans to leave the Pac-12 for the Big 12 last summer. The move takes effect on July 1. The Pac-12 Network has struggled with distribution throughout its existence and is only available in a small fraction of homes compared to other cable networks like Fox Sports 1, ESPN’s family of networks or conference contemporaries like the Big Ten Network, SEC Network and ACC Network, who all partnered with an existing network when they were developed.

Rapper Lil Wayne, a friend of Sanders who led the Buffaloes onto the field before their game against Colorado State last fall, is expected to perform at an event after the spring game.

Like last year’s sold-out affair, ticket prices are $15 for bowl seating, $25 for club seating and $5 for students.

The game will be the centerpiece of a full weekend. On Thursday night, Colorado is hosting a free talent show open to anyone, and Sanders will host a fundraising dinner Friday night. Before Saturday’s game, Colorado is also holding a brunch to celebrate football alumni.
