Alistair Macmillan has handed the reins of Ray White Wilston over to Christian Hamilton and Mitch Peereboom as the duo looks to build on the business’s solid foundations.

Mr Macmillan established Ray White Wilston in 2004 with just two staff members and has grown the business into a market-leading operation with community values at its core.

Mr Hamilton and Mr Peereboom, known for their dedication to hard work and commitment to excellence, said they were excited to build upon strong foundations.

“It is our ambition to build out one of the finest real estate businesses, not only in the Ray White Group here in Queensland, but in the entire industry,” Mr Hamilton said.

“The legacy of the Ray White Wilston business will give us an enormous opportunity to build upon something moving at pace, with a strong name in the local market.”

Mr Macmillan, a Chairman’s Elite performer in his own right, will continue to play a pivotal role, concentrating on his individual sales business within the Wilston operation.

“With Alistair still very much a part of the team, our business will be one that respects its heritage but builds towards its ultimate potential by using the core tenets; the support of high performing agents as well as a steadfast commitment to auctions,” Mr Hamilton said.

“These were key reasons why we aligned so closely with the Ray White Group and this opportunity.”

Mr Macmillian said the decision to sell Ray White Wilston had not been made lightly.

“It has been a place of growth, learning, and community connection,” Mr Macmillian said.

“However, recognising the need for change and evolution, I have decided to pass the torch to Mitch and Christian who will continue the legacy of excellence that Ray White Wilston represents.”

Mr Macmillian said he was genuinely enthusiastic about the possibilities that lie ahead for the business under new ownership.

“I look forward to supporting and assisting the new proprietors for many years to come as they take the helm and steer Ray White Wilston in new and innovative directions,” he said.

Ray White Queensland Chief Executive Officer, Jason Andrew, said Mr Hamilton and Mr Peereboom were outstanding leaders who had demonstrated the appetite to grow one of the leading businesses in Queensland and the country.

“What makes this such a special partnership is our belief that this will occur the right way; with one eye dedicated to the people who have made this business so special and another firmly on the people who will ensure that Ray White Wilston’s best days are still ahead,” Mr Andrew said.

“Ray White Queensland is committed to our collective ambition of being best in market and we believe that Ray White Wilston and its new owners will give us significant momentum as we lead towards the Olympics in 2032 and beyond.

“Our best days are still ahead.”
