Barry Plant North Eastern Group has expanded to Doreen-Mernda, with local Ashlee Jade set to take the reins.

Ms Jade has first-hand knowledge of the area, a strong commitment to the local community and is joined by fellow partners and directors Jay Moxon, David Moxon and Michael Egan.

“This is a great opportunity and I’m happy to bring the Barry Plant brand back into the area,” Ms Jade said.

It is the fourth in the Barry Plant North Eastern Group of offices, which also include Bundoora, Macleod and Mill Park-South Morang.

“It’s been so exciting and rewarding to be part of the growth of this group,” Ms Jade said.

Ms Jade’s career in real estate began about 11 years ago as personal assistant to Barry Plant Mill Park-South Morang Director Jay Moxon.

Not long after that, she became a sales consultant and was soon promoted to senior sales consultant.

“Since I started in real estate, I’ve worked with some of the best agents in the area,” she said.

“I’ve had great role models and mentors in the industry, including directors Jay Moxon and his father Chris.”

Along the way, Ms Jade has developed her own style and strongly believes communication is key to developing lasting relationships with clients.

Her caring and supportive nature ensures her clients are comfortable and confident in her professional advice and knowledge.

“Buying or selling a home is as much an emotional investment as it is financial,” she said.

“And every buyer and seller should receive the attention and consideration they deserve.”

With a reputation for delivering exceptional results, Ms Jade has a proven track record of exceeding expectations and has garnered multiple and consecutive awards throughout her career, including No.1 Agent.

“These awards were my greatest achievements as a woman in this industry,” she said.

“My advice is to just be yourself, stay focussed and you’ll achieve your goals.”

Barry Plant Franchise Development Manager, Chris Hill, said Ms Jade was one of the next generation of leaders to emerge in the Barry Plant network.

“The real estate industry has changed so much compared to 30 years ago,” Mr Hill said.

“We are seeing more women stepping up into leadership roles at Barry Plant, and 30 per cent of our top agents are female.

“The next 20 years are going to be super exciting as the landscape continues to shift.”

With the goal of making Barry Plant Doreen-Mernda the No. 1 agency in the area, Ms Jade aims to grow the business and develop a team of outstanding agents to service the buoyant market.

“The market in Doreen, Mernda and surrounding areas is holding strong,” she said.

“Properties are selling within an average of two weeks and there is high demand from first-home buyers.”
