The Carabao Cup is regarded as the secondary cup competition in English football, behind the FA Cup, but it is still regarded as a major honour. And, in a world where the best managers are judged on their trophy hauls, it still holds real significance among the big clubs.

And four of those clubs are hoping to go all the way this season — here is the semi-final line-up and the dates of the games:

  • Today: Arsenal vs Newcastle (first leg)
  • Tomorrow: Tottenham vs Liverpool (first leg)
  • Wednesday, February 5: Newcastle vs Arsenal (second leg)
  • Thursday, February 6: Liverpool vs Tottenham (second leg)

All four of those matches will be covered live on The Athletic
