Nick Boyd has been named Chief Executive Officer of Belle Property, Hockingstuart and Acton | Belle Property, taking the reins from Peter Hanscomb.

Mr Boyd brings over two decades of experience in the Real Estate industry and has previously held the role of Belle Property’s Head of Network Growth.

Mr Boyd said he was incredibly excited and honoured to step into the top job after working closely with Peter Hanscomb.

“I’ve been a part of this network for nearly a decade,” Mr Boyd said.

“The wonderful thing is that I’ve got to be a part of seeing it grow pretty substantially in that time.”

Mr Boyd said that with the group having grown to nearly 190 offices with over 3,000 people in its network, it is well-positioned to take advantage of new opportunities.

“We’re at a size and a scale now that we can see the consolidation in industry,” he said.

“We know that we’re positioned in the right place to be able to take advantage of different opportunities that might come.”

Looking ahead, Mr Boyd said he hopes to continue to focus on streamlining efficiencies with current staff, offices, and franchisees to enhance productivity.

As well as aligning with more businesses and individuals who want to take advantage of Belle Property’s scale.

He said the transition had been talked about, with Mr Boyd working closely alongside Mr Hanscomb for many years.

“It was always something we discussed for when the time is right,” Mr Boyd said.

“And it was right for both of us because we know it’s going to allow the whole group to succeed even more into the future.”

Mr Boyd said he is excited about the future of Belle Property and the opportunities that lay ahead.

“I feel like now it’s just like the game’s just beginning,” he said.

Peter Hanscomb, who will remain as CEO of the Propvue Group, the holding company for all entities, expressed his confidence in Mr Boyd’s appointment.

Mr Hanscomb will focus on acquisitions for the group, coaching, investment trusts, finance, conveyancing, digital brands and data.

“I have the utmost confidence in my decision and believe that Nick is the very best person to lead Belle Property, Hockingstuart and Acton | Belle Property into this next stage,” Mr Hanscomb said.

“By appointing Nick to lead this arm of the business it will allow for us to achieve greater success across the entire group.”
