Woman stabbed at Queens subway station: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A woman was stabbed at a Queens subway station on Sunday, according to police.

Police said a man, 20, stabbed the 20-year-old victim in the chest and abdomen with a knife around 8:30 p.m. at the Jamaica-Van Wyck subway station. The two did not know each other, according to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. Police said they have the suspect in custody.
