White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor sent a memorandum to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Monday afternoon about President Joe Biden’s physical condition after it was reported last week that he had tested positive for COVID – and since he hasn’t been seen by the public since Sunday’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race.

O’Connor wrote:

President Biden completed his tenth dose of PAXLOVID this morning. His symptoms have almost resolved completely. His pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and temperature remain absolutely normal. His oxygen saturation continues to be excellent on room air. His lungs remain clear.

The President continues to perform all of his presidential duties.

I will continue to keep your office updated with any changes in his condition or treatment plan.

This latest bout with COVID is Joe Biden’s third since July 2022. He received the COVID shot and at least three boosters, with the latest being in September 2023. The last doctor’s note was on July 18, and read much the same as the one issued Monday.

Biden hasn’t been seen in public since very late Wednesday night, when he was barely able to get into his motorcade after exiting Air Force One upon his return to the East Coast from Las Vegas.
