With summer in full swing, families across Greater Cincinnati are gearing up for highly anticipated summer activities. like camping trips, beach vacations, concerts in the park, and outdoor movies. But back-to-school season will be here before you know it.

Figuring out when your school starts can be confusing since many districts offer staggered start dates by grade and last name. So, we put together a list of start dates for each school district around Greater Cincinnati.

Fairfield City Schools: Aug. 8.

Lakota Local Schools: Aug. 15 (grades 1-12, last names A-L only), Aug. 16 (grades 1-12, last names M-Z only), Aug. 15-21 (kindergarten phase-in days).

Madison Local Schools: Aug. 14 (smart start), Aug. 15 (middle and high school regular class schedule).
