What's happening to the Red Lobsters in Appleton and Ashwaubenon following company's bankruptcy | The Buzz

APPLETON – In May, Red Lobster filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, resulting in the closure of nearly 100 locations across the U.S.

An article by USA TODAY stated that the company had been struggling in various ways including seeing a 30% drop in customers since 2019.

The company released a list of all the locations that are closed or will be closing following the company’s bankruptcy.

This list included two locations in Wisconsin, one in La Crosse, 3333 State 16 and one in Wauwatosa, 2801 North Mayfair Road. These locations are listed as permanently closed online, with equipment being auctioned off.

Both the Appleton location, 1200 N. Casaloma Drive, and Ashwaubenon location, 1251 Lombardi Access Road, plan to stay open and operating, according to employees at both restaurants.
