The Webster Police Department has issued a warning to residents following numerous reports of coyote sightings in the area.
Recent reports indicate that coyotes have been seen along the Webster Park and Whiting Road Nature Preserve trails, with some approaching trail visitors dangerously close and, in a few cases, stalking individuals, police said.
Residents are being advised to call 911 immediately if they encounter a coyote on the trails.
