WATCH: The Trump-Harris Debate We'd Love to See — Hilarious Impersonators Absolutely Crush It

As Donald Trump and Kamala Harris continue their kabuki dance over whether or when they’ll agree to debate, a talk radio show in Philadelphia on Thursday treated its listeners to a hilarious imaginary debate, featuring impersonator stand-ins for the former president and current vice president.

There are impersonators who do a good job mimicking voices, affects, cadence, and quirks of the people they impersonate. Then there’s Shawn Farash. Close your eyes, and this guy is Donald Trump.

At the other podium, Estee Palti delivered a blistering version of Kamala Harris: clueless, hypocritical, and hyena-like laughter. Talk Radio 1210 WPHT absolutely nailed the production.

9075f11c 48f1 4c4c 9bbb bcebdee0f5b0Debate moderator “Fake Tapper” (show co-host Greg Stocker) at one point asked “Harris” to share her plan on addressing stubborn inflation and continuing high prices. She replied:

Me and Joe, we’re pretty much on the same agenda. … I do believe that we have to build back, better — build back, stronger, build back, faster. I mean, we’re not going back. We’re not going back to a decent time. We want total chaos and destruction. OK? I mean, that’s why I left the border open, right?

[Palti then cackled like Kamala.]

Exactly right. That, and to try to permanently change the political demographics of America:

Near the end of the debate, “Trump” was asked why he should become the 47th president of the United States. He began his answer by attacking Harris’ penchant for lying — with a twist:

Well, she said she likes to lie, which we know is the truth. It’s the first time she’s told the truth; she likes to lie and she’s lied with a lot of people — I can tell you that, a lot of people. …

“Lied with a lot of people,” being a reference to Harris’s past “infamous” relationships with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown and TV show host Montel Williams.

So, Where Does an Actual Debate Between Trump and Biden Stand?

As RedState reported last Sunday, Trump announced on Truth Social that his September debate with the Democrat nominee is off:

My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September. Now that Joe has  , not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you! DJT

[Random uppercase letters and spacing errors, compliments of Donald.]

And as we reported on Saturday, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg tried to slam Trump for backing out of the September debate, only to have his butt handed to him — bigly.

Has a presidential nominee ever agreed to a debate, then pulled out?

 Remarkable show of weakness here.

Oh, Petey, no:

Podcaster Siraj Hashmi promptly destroyed Buttigieg.

Has a presidential candidate ever become the presumptive nominee without receiving a single vote in the primary?

Remarkable show of autocracy here.

Ouch, Pete.

Let me end with this. I’ve covered more than a few presidential campaigns. I’ve never seen anything even close to what we’ve seen in 2024 — so far, that is. My point being, nothing will surprise me as this thing rolls on, through Election Day and beyond.
