As we reported earlier, there was some obnoxious misbehavior early by the Democrats at the joint address President Donald Trump delivered to Congress. It looked like their intent was to keep acting up and making noise while Trump spoke.
But Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was having none of that, he was running a tight ship. He called for the Sergeant-at-Arms to maintain order and usher out anyone who was being disruptive. Rep. Al Green (D-TX) continued to yell, and it was a complete fail since you couldn’t even hear what he had to say. Then he got booted out. Not a good look also to be waving around a cane.

So what was he yelling about?
He explained to the media outside in the hallway that he was concerned about Trump cutting Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.

Now, that’s pretty bizarre since Trump has said repeatedly he has no intention to do any such thing. Indeed he reiterated he wanted to strengthen the system by calling out waste, fraud, and abuse, noting the number of people from 100 to 300+ years old who were listed as active in the Social Security database. That makes things better for everyone.

Green said he had “people who were very fearful.” Yes, because you’re making them afraid over a false claim.
The Democrats just can’t stop lying about this. This is all they are left with, which shows you how very little they have legitimately to object to.
He said he was willing to “accept punishment” for his actions for the imaginary action of objecting to something that isn’t happening. Then he claimed he was pursuing impeachment against Trump. For what? Who knows? Is he going to impeach him for being more popular and right than the Democrats? It was just a master class in how out of control and out of touch Democrats are at his point.
As Fox’s Dana Perino even noted after a positive speech from Trump, it showed Democrats had no common sense. It was a great vision Trump laid out, and all the Democrats could do was sulk.
