While Americans were experiencing a data dump of Trump appointments on Friday evening, some good and some not so good, Montreal devolved into chaos. Pro-Hamas rioters tore through the city, smashing windows, setting cars on fire, and burning Jews in effigy.
The violence reportedly started at 6:00 PM local time. What set the lunatics off this time wasn’t immediately apparent. Still, many speculated that Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s recent pledge to arrest Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was a factor in emboldening the rioters.

I’ve tried to find information on how law enforcement handled the situation. I only found some social media reports that only three people were arrested. Likewise, I’ve yet to find a video showing police intervening to stop the violence. These Hamas supporters were apparently given free rein to destroy whatever they wanted.
Meanwhile, Canada had no problem arresting a guy who stood around with a billboard stating the realities of biological sex. They also have no problem arresting a woman for letting her 10-year-old son walk to the corner store. Create a modern-day Kristallnacht, though, and there’s just nothing the Canadian authorities can do.
As to what Trudeau was doing, he was too busy dancing at a Taylor Swift concert to get involved.

When truckers peacefully protest over draconian COVID restrictions, Trudeau freezes their bank accounts. When terrorists rampage through his streets destroying property and threatening Jews, he dances like a pre-teen girl. The difference in responses could not be more stark.
This is what a fallen nation looks like, and Canada has definitely fallen. Its voters continue to put left-wing lunatics in charge, and these are the results. Unfortunately, these outbursts of violence are unlikely to change the status quo. If Europe has shown us anything, it’s that unlimited migration of people from horrible cultures who have zero intention of assimilating eventually engulfs a country, and there’s really no going back.
