Khloé Kardashian and her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, will come face-to-face in an upcoming episode of The Kardashians.
“I honestly think timing is everything,” Khloé, 40, said in a confessional, which aired during a Friday, January 17, trailer for season 6 of the Hulu docuseries, before she asked sister Kim Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner who she recently saw in person.
Kim, 44, and Kris, 69, were in shock that Khloé was referring to Lamar, 45. (Khloé and Lamar were married from 2009 to 2013.)
“This is insane,” Kim quipped before Kris tearfully called the NBA alum “the love of [Khloé’s] life.”
In another scene, Lamar was spotted arriving at Khloé’s home carrying a bouquet of red roses.
“I don’t even know this person anymore,” the Good American founder added in a voiceover. “In this family, there has to be drama.”
She also appeared to get into a heated conversation with Lamar.
“It’s the truth,” Khloé proclaimed. “The truth hurts one time. A lie hurts several times.”
Khloé married Lamar in September 2009 after one month of dating, soon chronicling their romance on a Khloé & Lamar E! docuseries. The reality TV star filed for divorce four years later but postponed her court motion after Lamar was left comatose after overdosing at a legal brothel in Nevada. Khloé served as Lamar’s caretaker while he recovered. She refiled for divorce in May 2016, which was finalized seven months later.
“The reason why I turned to the gym was actually through my divorce. I didn’t really know what to do,” Khloé recalled to InStyle in a 2023 profile. “Of course, in the beginning, you [have to] get over that hump of it being really hard and something so new for you. But I felt so accomplished. I’m sort of a control freak, but in life we can’t control everything. But the gym, what I put in it, I know I’m going to get out of it. And being a control freak — I’m proud of it — I love that I have that control.”
She later moved on with Tristan Thompson, whom she dated on and off between 2016 and 2021. They share daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2.
Khloé’s family life — and her milestone 40th birthday — will be among the story lines on The Kardashians season 6. The teaser also highlighted Kourtney Kardashian “stepping out of retirement,” sisterly fights and Kim balancing business endeavors and parenthood with a new love interest.
“I had the intention of staying single — I was fully lying to you guys,” Kim said in a confessional. “Me not dating and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me!”
The Kardashians season 6 premieres Thursday, February 6, on Hulu.
