One of the biggest lies that Democrats keep pushing is fear-mongering about Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare.
We reported earlier about Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) being our “lying liar” of the day on the issue.
She should be ashamed of spreading such nonsense.

But the Democrats are completely shameless about lying, claiming Republicans intend to cut the programs when Trump and other Republicans have said the exact opposite. Not only doesn’t Trump want to cut it, but he also wants to cut taxes on Social Security, which would put more money in the pockets of Americans.
But it shows you how Democrats have nothing positive to offer themselves when they have to make up bogus claims like these.
You would think that the media should be asking the Democrats, “Why do you keep lying?” Or at least, “Why do you claim this when the GOP has refuted your claims time and again?”
But instead, they just seem to keep asking Trump and/or the Republicans: “Are you going to cut these programs?” How many times does the Trump administration have to debunk this before they accept the truth?
It’s just ridiculous, and when faced with this farce again at a briefing on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just shut it down. The reporter asked if comments by Elon Musk indicated Trump and the Republicans were going to make big changes to Social Security and Medicare.

Leavitt corrected a reporter, saying she was taking Musk’s statement on Social Security out of context.
Leavitt reiterated how Trump had been very clear that he wants to protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. She said what Musk was “specifically referring to cutting was the waste and fraud and abuse that does exist in these programs.”
Leavitt pointed to an IG report that revealed there was more than $70 billion in the Social Security program that they know of. So yes, there’s waste. Plus, cutting the waste would help save the program, she noted.
It’s so crazy that the Democrats keep throwing a fit over wanting to clean up fraud, waste, and abuse. Curing all the waste is the very thing that will ultimately save us from our crushing debt. The liberal media should be asking why there is all this waste and fraud and helping to expose it rather than just acting like scribes for the latest Democratic talking point. But they’re not.
Good for Karoline Leavitt for just whacking the whole fake story down. What a difference from Karine Jean-Pierre. You actually get real answers, not just someone trying to lie, deflect, or race out of there to avoid the questions. But Leavitt also won’t tolerate fake stories like this, and she will shoot them down dispositively.
How nice it is to see competence.
