Oh, this was ugly. Meaning it was awesome.
Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance not only visited the Southern Border on Thursday — an obvious in-your-face shot at border-czar-denying presumptive Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris — but he also calmly blistered the daylights out of both Harris and Biden while there.
Let’s just go to a clip of Vance’s speech to kick off the festivities, via Donald Trump Jr.
They started their administration — Kamala Harris came into office — making promises, and she kept those promises to open the American southern border. They stopped deportations on Day One. They stopped construction of the border wall on Day One.
We see the border wall sitting here, ready to be completed behind us, and that can’t happen because of Kamala Harris’s administration. They reinstated catch-and-release and they stopped Remain-in-Mexico, so all of these asylum claimants who come to our border, they can now get released into our country because they’re not forced to stay in Mexico while we adjudicate their asylum claims.
Biden formally ended, after earlier suspending, Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy in June 2021.

Vance continued:
We have to remember that as terrible and idiotic as they policies were, they cause real human beings to suffer. A lot of you know my story, and I have been a little kid, waiting at the bedside of his mother, angry that his mom took something that she shouldn’t have taken, but praying to God, ‘Please, Jesus, let her wake up.’
Vance continued with the hard truth of the fentanyl crisis, again tying Harris directly to it because, as president, she would likely continue Biden’s border policies — or worse.
And the unfortunate truth is because of the poison that Kamala Harris has let come into this country, there are a lot of those prayers that won’t be answered. There are a lot of parents that won’t wake up because when you take fentanyl you don’t wake up — it takes your life.
So there are a lot of kids out there who have been deprived of second chances with their moms and dads. There are a lot of moms and dads out there who will never see their kids walk down the aisle because of what Kamala Harris has unleashed at this border.
So, while Joe Biden, not Kamala Harris, has been president for more than three-and-a-half years, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA.) recently called her “the architect of Biden’s failures.”
[L]et’s look at Kamala Harris’ record as vice president. She’s still the sitting vice president, but she’s also been the architect of many of President Biden’s worst failures, not the least of which is her main responsibility that she’s been given in three and a half years: that is the job of border czar.

She said many times that the border is secure. Everybody in America knows that’s a lie. Kamala Harris has been responsible for this epic failure. In fact, she’s called for open borders. What else has she called for?
Amen — and then some.
