The 2024 Olympics has been plagued with controversy. What began with “drag queens” mocking Christians during the opening ceremony has now led to a woman having to forfeit her lifelong dream after being forced to fight a biological man.

Shocking video showed Italy’s Angela Carini being pummelled by Imane Khelif of Algeria (who now claims to be “intersex” but has XY chromosomes). Less than a minute into the fight, Carini called time. Upon re-entering, she immediately took another punch and withdrew. Preliminary reports are that her nose was broken.
Today, Angela Carini had her Olympics dreams shattered by Imane Khelif, a male boxer.
It is suspected that he BROKE HER NOSE.

After the fight was called, Khelif lifted his hand to celebrate and then appeared to stare down Carini before mocking her with a pat on the back as she cried. He then rushed over to fist-bump his trainers.

It was a disgusting scene that never should have been allowed to happen. In a post-fight press conference, Carini complained of “severe pain” but would not call out her opponent or the Olympic system which led her to suffer an injury at the hands of a man during the competition.
Afterward, a still-tearful Carini said she quit because of intense pain in her nose after the opening punches. Carini, who had a spot of blood on her trunks, said she wasn’t making a political statement and was not refusing to fight Khelif.
“I felt a severe pain in my nose, and with the maturity of a boxer, I said ‘enough,’ because I didn’t want to, I didn’t want to, I couldn’t finish the match,” Carini said.
Carini further said she is not qualified to decide whether Khelif should be allowed to compete, but she had no problem fighting her.
On the one hand, I feel extremely sorry for Carini that she was put through that. The IOC making her fight a man who had already been disqualified from the 2023 world championships due to failing a gender test is inexcusable. On the other hand, it is simply a fact that if female athletes keep refusing to defend themselves, none of this will change. It begins with them. If they aren’t willing to call this out for what it is, which is deeply unfair and dangerous, then the outrage of others will fall on deaf ears.
Still, the outrage flowed, and rightfully so. Some even pointed out that the comedy show “South Park” actually predicted this in astonishing fashion.
The Olympics allowed a biological man, Imane Khelif, to fight as a woman despite his XY chromosomes. The end result?
“I have never been hit so hard in my life.”

This is shameful, and if it continues, there will be nothing left of women’s sports in a few years.
