Democrats are at sea, not knowing how to deal with President Donald Trump.
Calling him Hitler didn’t work. Now, the effort to protest at government buildings with words that sound like they’re trying to incite violence is a bad look too. They don’t seem to understand how much they are continuing to sink themselves. Who will vote for these crazy people who claim they’re trying to speak for the federal workers, but then assail and yell at some poor guy who is providing security at the Department of Education?
Democrats like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz lying about the Trump team’s actions also isn’t working very well. As we wrote earlier on Friday, the former Dem vice presidential nominee got decimated by Elon Musk.

Elon Sweeps the Leg on Tim Walz’s Lame Attempt to Smear Him
Now, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has just offered up a truly lame effort in a new video. I think he’s trying to mock Trump. But the fact that Pritzker’s copying him, but not bringing it off, just acknowledges how much Trump lives rent-free in these Democrats’ heads. It’s implicitly acknowledges Trump’s strength. Plus, Pritzker doesn’t have the humor Trump has to carry it off.
In the video shared to X, Pritzker talks about renaming Lake Michigan to “Lake Illinois,” and says in light of the announcements about the U.S. acquiring Greenland, he’s going to annex Green Bay, Wisconsin, to protect against enemies foreign and domestic.

Pritzker appears to have no understanding of the importance of Greenland or the critical nature of the security in that region. So, there are reasons for Trump to be making such moves.

What’s Pritzker’s reason for this, besides trying to troll Trump? This is what he’s spending his time on; you have to ask, is he using Illinois taxpayer money for this nonsense?
If he thinks it makes him look presidential, he’s sadly mistaken. As I mentioned, Trump has a sense of humor, but he also releases definitive, effective policy.
Pritzker, on the other hand, shows here he is truly clueless.
During an announcement of some tax policy on Friday, he claimed that the Trump effort to clean up government, cutting waste and abuse of the taxpayers’ money, is “a massive effort to distract from what they are doing across the country, to take away things that working-class, middle-class people, families, and the most vulnerable really need.” Um, no, JB, the American people voted for this, they want their money spent wisely. But the Democrats don’t seem to want that.
Pritzker even claimed that “immigration — that’s not a problem from Canada.” Notice, he can’t even bring himself to say “illegal immigration” — that’s how out of touch he is. Plus, illegal encounters at the U.S.- Canadian border (coming from Canada) were at 198,000 people in 2024. How is that not a problem? What is he smoking?
