The biggest political scandal in modern history continues to live on at the expense of the American people. Joe Biden, who exited the presidential race in July with no coherent explanation while insisting he’s still mentally and physically fit to serve, remains the leader of the most powerful country on earth. As the story goes, he’s the best, most consequential president ever, but also, he can’t continue his re-election campaign. I’ll let you do the math on that one.

I’m old enough to remember when Donald Trump drinking a cup of water with two hands spawned calls for the use of the 25th Amendment. Still, the press remains completely uninterested in questioning the dangerous absurdity of the situation. So here we are, with the President of the United States forgetting who he’s supposed to introduce and take questions with at a joint press conference.

BIDEN: So I want to thank you all for being here, and now, uh, who am I introducing next?

BIDEN: Who’s next?!
(Longer Pause)
The president begins by fumbling over his words, asking “Who am I introducing next.” He pauses for several seconds before angrily shouting, “Who’s next?” After standing there looking dumbfounded for nearly ten more seconds, his mouth gaping, the voice of a woman mercifully comes over the loudspeaker to introduce Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India.
Biden is completely toasted, and he’s not even trying to hide it anymore. There was a time when he and his handlers would at least play this off as a joke. Now, he’s just shouting at people during public events with his annoyance at even having to fulfill the duties of his office on full display. If you’re looking for an explanation for why Jill Biden has been leading cabinet meetings and handling press interactions at the White House, the above video offers a pretty darn good one.

You can’t even call this a cover-up anymore. It’s all out there in the open, but we have a national press that is more concerned with writing puff pieces about Kamala Harris’ supposed “joy” than asking why Biden hasn’t resigned his office. Cliched as it may be to mention, imagine the feeding frenzy this would cause if the parties were swapped.
How did we get here? We got here because Harris and others around Biden lied to everyone, and there’s been zero accountability in the wake of those lies. The United States essentially has no president at the moment, and very few people seem to care. That kind of complacency is a scary proposition.
