Aerospace officials intercepted two more aircraft Thursday afternoon during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee for flying within the temporarily restricted flight zone.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD, announced the violations, which followed a previous intercept on Tuesday. NORAD said Thursday’s incidents took place at about 3 and 5 p.m.

“In both cases, the general aviation aircraft were approximately 25 nautical miles west of Milwaukee and NORAD F-35 aircraft safely escorted them out of the area,” NORAD said.

During Thursday’s intercepts, the F-35 fighter jet was flying at approximately 3,000 feet and may have been visible from the ground.

The Federal Aviation Administration has implemented temporary flight restrictions in and around Milwaukee throughout the RNC, including temporarily barring drones within a 30-mile radius of downtown Milwaukee.
