Kamala Harris has been trying to move the needle by doing interviews. But she’s only sitting with friendly outlets. Even with that strategy, Kamala Harris is still imploding her campaign. If she can’t even come up with a coherent answer to what she can do differently than Joe Biden when she’s trying to pitch herself as a “change agent,” you know that all you’re going to get is the same old mess that we’ve had under Biden. If she’s done in even by a question from “The View,” you know she has a problem.

If they have to heavily edit what you say, as they appear to have done with her CBS interview, she raises even more questions.

Tim Walz is also not helping her by getting caught lying again on “60 Minutes” and making bad comments about doing away with the Electoral College. When the campaign has to come out and say well, that’s not our official position, you know there’s some internal chaos going on there.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has been doing all kinds of interviews in order to get out his message to the people, including friendly and unfriendly outlets. He went on the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh in a free-wheeling interview where they covered all kinds of topics. No teleprompters; you can tell it’s just a regular conversation. No talking points needed. So different from the Kamala “interviews.”

Trump does particularly well in these kinds of interviews, where his humor and humanity come out more. The difference between his ability and knowledge versus Kamala Harris is stark.

Elon Musk has become a big supporter of Trump, so they asked if Musk was his “favorite African American.”

Trump had a good laugh at that one.

He praised Musk for loving the country and “picking a side,” noting how now (because of Democrats), you can suffer a cost for supporting the opposition, a troubling turn of events for the country. He mentioned how he had supporters who were hesitant to be supporters publicly for that reason. But Elon has gone “all out,” which takes courage. He also spoke about returning to Butler, Pennsylvania, and the importance of honoring the fallen firefighter Corey Comperatore and supporting the two men who had been injured in the assassination attempt against Trump in July.

Schulz asked about him being a father and about a funny story of Don Jr. asking if he could have five friends over when he thought his father would be out of town. He ended up bringing over 200, and his father showed up. It did not go well.

He joked how he could never give closure for his son doing that. But then he spoke about what Don had to go through because of being his son. He also praised his daughter Ivanka for her efforts during his administration.

Trump spoke about how he put sanctions on Nord Stream 2 and tried to stop the EU from being beholden to Russia for oil when we’re devoting so many resources to protect them from Russia. It didn’t make a lot of sense, and as he noted, if he was pro-Putin he wouldn’t have done any of that. It was Biden who removed the sanctions.

He spoke about how he wanted his legacy to be Making America Great Again.

There were a lot of good moments and it’s worth checking out the whole podcast.

But perhaps the funniest part was talking about Joe Biden and what his true talent was — he sleeps.

He just slays them, they’re falling all over their chairs as he tries to explain how Biden sleeps at the beach. It’s hilarious.

If you want to check out the full podcast, here it is.
