It’s been an action-packed week since President Donald Trump was sworn in.
He’s signed a ton of executive orders to fix a lot of the mess that Joe Biden left, then he was off to North Carolina and Los Angeles to address the disasters that have affected the areas and promised them help.
Then Trump was on to Las Vegas, Nevada, for a rally to say thank you to the voters of the state. He confirmed he would be pushing to keep the tax cuts he already had in place to be made permanent, that he was going to propose more tax cuts, and that he was going push a bill about no tax on tips. That was met with cheers. He even teased doing away with the income tax altogether. Trump later went on to the Circa Casino, where he was also embraced by the people who chanted “USA, USA.”

There was also a truly telling, funny moment when he was speaking to the rally about what a big change it was now that Joe Biden was no longer occupying the Oval Office. Trump asserted that now there was not only “light over America” but elsewhere in the world as well because of the change. He spoke about the problem foreign leaders faced when they called the White House to speak to Joe Biden.

He joked about how Biden’s staff would respond, “He’ll call you back in two months — he’s extremely busy…sleeping.”
So then two months comes along — no call. Then Trump starts cracking up, “He didn’t call.”
“These stories are not very exaggerated,” he said. “Only a little bit for laughter…The fake news will say ‘He [Trump] exaggerates — it was only one month.” People cheered that one.
Trump said now the leaders are calling, and they’re so used to what was happening with Biden they’re surprised when he actually immediately takes their calls and will talk to them.
“The only problem was they are so starved for love from the United States that you can’t get them off the phone…I say, ‘I have to go now, King, or I have to go now, President.’ They’re starved for love…They didn’t even know we had a president.”
But under our leadership, “America is back,” he concluded.

What a contrast to Joe Biden, or even Kamala Harris, who couldn’t even get clear thoughts out of their heads. And yes, now there is light over America because we have a strong leader not only making great changes here, but also sending that signal out into the rest of the world. We are so much safer now with other nations knowing we actually have someone with strength and America’s interests at the helm.
