Nuno Espirito Santo says Nottingham Forest still have more to do in the transfer market to prepare them for the new Premier League season.

The head coach said he was pleased with what he saw from the trio of new additions — Carlos Miguel, Elliot Anderson and Eric da Silva Moreira — as Forest beat League Two Chesterfield 3-0 in their first pre-season friendly on Saturday.

“Yes, of course we still need to do work. We do not need too many. But the squad still needs some things,” said Nuno. “Which areas do we need to strengthen? You can see for yourselves. We still need wingers. The only natural wingers we have are Callum (Hudson-Odoi) and Anthony (Elanga).

“You always have to add the right pieces, there is no point in bringing (players) in just because. We need to nail everything down on the players we bring in.”
