PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD) — Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins said that two people were injured after a train crashed into a vehicle on Tuesday.
The crash occurred near Illinois Route 90 and the railroad tracks near Hakes Road in Hallock Township about six miles east of Princeville at approximately 12:32 p.m.
The two people injured were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Watkins.

Route 90 is expected to remain closed for two hours while the Illinois State Police investigate the crash.
