Premier League football is non-stop during the festive season, but some players could be about to get Christmas off.

If players receive a fifth yellow card before the end of Gameweek 19 (this week is Gameweek 17) on January 1, when bookings are cleared, they miss one match.

So if certain stars walking the disciplinary tightrope on four yellow cards are cautioned this week, they will be ‘off’ over Christmas.
