Tom Brady was feeling introspective following Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy announcement.
Brady, 47, seemingly shared his mood by posting a sunset photo in his Instagram Stories and using The Chicks’ cover of “Landslide” as the background music. He added song lyrics to his Monday, October 28 post, specifically the verses: “Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? / Can the child within my heart rise above? / Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?”
Above those immortal words, first written and performed by Stevie Nicks, Brady placed three red emoji hearts.
His ex-wife, Bündchen, 44, had announced hours earlier that she and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, are expecting their first baby together and her third.

“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source told People on Monday.
The supermodel and Brady share son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, and Bündchen is also the stepmother to Brady’s son Jack, 17, whom the former NFL quarterback shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Bündchen and Valente have been dating since the summer of 2023. The couple worked together in 2021 on a photoshoot for Dust magazine. Later, Valente became Bündchen’s jiu-jitsu instructor.
“Her kids really like him,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly about how Benjamin and Vivian feel about Valente coming into their life, adding that Valente has been “living at [Bündchen’s] house in Miami for [a] while.”

The insider told Us that Bündchen is “head over heels” for Valente, noting that her “friends haven’t seen her like this before.”
The source added: “Their chemistry together has always been there and they have a lot in common. They’ve been in love for a while.”

Earlier this year, Us reported that the pair began their relationship as friends before things changed in 2023.
“Joaquim was there for Gisele through her divorce, as a friend, and they turned romantic this past summer,” a source explained in February, adding that the couple have “similar lifestyles” and are both “dedicated to fitness and nutrition.”

Though Bündchen met Valente while she was still married to Brady, she has fiercely denied speculation that she cheated on her ex-husband.
“That is a lie,” she told The New York Times in March. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”
In the same interview, Bündchen declined to specify what caused her split from Brady, saying only, “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

Bündchen and Brady announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Brady wrote via Instagram at the time. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
While Bündchen moves on with Valente, Brady has spent some quality time with his kids. The seven-time Super Bowl champion took Benjamin and Jack to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Miami on October 18 and shared a sweet snap with his boys via Instagram.
“The gang does @taylorswift,” he captioned the post. “I think I learned I’m a Reputation guy.”
