It’s hard to think of a more iconic actor than James Earl Jones.
My colleague Ward Clark wrote about some of his career, the awards he achieved in his life, and his talent. He was one of the few to achieve the EGOT, winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

There were so many great moments in “Field of Dreams.” They would most definitely come to celebrate the career and the life of James Earl Jones, who has been a constant in our lives for so many years.

He told us in “Hunt for Red October”: “And I was never here.”
But he was here in so many ways that touched us and that we won’t forget.
He even did funny turns on shows like David Letterman including this epic Top Ten list that had me laughing as I listened to his delivery on the lines.
