The Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) has announced Thomas McGlynn as its President.

As CEO and Director of BresicWhitney, Mr McGlynn is one of Australia’s most prominent and respected thought leaders, mentors and real estate coaches, bringing two decades of industry experience to the role.

He has served on the REINSW Board for the past four years and says it’s an honour to be elected President.

“It’s a privilege and an honour to become President of the REINSW,” Mr McGlynn said.

“As the industry’s peak body, our road ahead must be anchored by continuing to support, protect and enhance the value that we provide our members, our clients, partners, and communities.”

The appointment comes at a crucial time as the organisation prepares to celebrate its 115th anniversary in 2025.

As one of Australia’s most respected real estate thought leaders and mentors, Mr McGlynn aims to build on the organisation’s past achievements while driving innovation.

“The work of REINSW continues to deliver critical, positive change and innovation, but there is always more to strive for,” he said.

“Effective and engaging leadership is key to moving us forward.”

Mr McGlynn said it was important to maintain the organisation’s strategic direction while embracing new opportunities for growth.

“I look forward to continuing the work that I have been grateful to do with the Board of Directors over recent years,” he said.

“I extend my genuine thanks to all those who support and believe not only in my contribution and vision as President but the strategic importance of the Institute in building a prosperous future.”
