The Twist In Lucky’s Return On August 26 General Hospital

Lucky’s return may not all be what it seems on the August 26, 2024 episode of General Hospital.

Call Me Lucky

After two men confronted a chained Lucky (Jonathan Jackson, who returned to GH last week) in a cell, he revealed he took down seven guards but kept them alive, resulting in a cut on his arm, and that was where the twist began. “Killing your future coworkers right before your job interview makes a lousy first impression.”

When one of the men asked for his name, he slyly told them to “just call me Lucky.” As the “job interview” went underway, the men brought in a doctor named Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), and instead of having Lucky’s cut tended to, they ordered Lucky to kill him.

With a gun firmly in his hand, Lucky hardly hesitated before pulling the trigger, revealing an unloaded gun. That was all they needed to let Lucky meet with their boss, and once the two men left him and Isaiah alone in the cell, the doctor threw a swing at Lucky.

Future Plans

Despite Isaiah retaliating for Lucky pulling the trigger, the pair quickly revealed their friendship and that Lucky had arrived to break him out from being held captive.

When Isaiah warned Lucky that escaping wasn’t an option there, Lucky channeled Luke when he said, “My old man used to tell me… there’s always a way out.”

Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, after Laura (Genie Francis) learned Lulu – who is rumored to be getting recast – would need a liver transplant, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) realized a full brother would be her best hope. “The problem is we don’t know where Lucky is right now,” she told him.

How do you think Lulu’s condition will tie into Lucky’s latest adventure? Let us know in the comments.
