“I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience,” said Ronald Reagan during the 1984 presidential debate against Walter Mondale.

It was a response to a question asked about Reagan’s age, as he was 72 at the time, and there was talk that perhaps he was getting a bit long in the tooth. The line was so good that it allayed many people’s fears, showing that he was still sharper than ever, and way more clever than his younger 56-year-old opponent. It was so good it even made Mondale laugh, and it was a moment that made everyone fall in love with Reagan and push him in the White House. It’s still replayed as one of the greatest moments in presidential debate history.

Singular moments in time can make or break elections. It’s not really a testament to the existence of luck, but more about human nature and how we respond to things as a collective. Yesterday, we collectively watched President Joe Biden bomb so hard during his debate with former President Donald Trump that even his cheerleaders in the media put down their pompoms and suggest it’s time to put Joe in the retirement home.

It was pretty obvious he should have been there years ago, but here we are.

But there was a moment during the debate that will probably be remembered above all the others. It’s probably this moment where Democrats knew Biden had lost, not just the debate, but the entire election.

And it’s this moment here.

Biden, looking and sounding tired, began tripping over himself, mumbling, and rambling. When the moderator asked Trump for a response, he said what everyone in America was thinking at the moment.

“I really don’t know what he said and the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said, either.”

The truth is, you can put up all the facts and figures, percentages, and timelines you want. In the end, the vast majority of Americans are going to see and remember things like this moment. It perfectly sums up what many have been saying and feeling about Biden for years now. A doddering old man far past his “use by” date attempting to pass himself off as cognitively capable at the behest of his handlers, his supporters, and his wife.

And if I was a betting man, I’d put this as the moment where Democrats, including Biden’s media guardians, put their hands on their face and the word “replacement” went from a polite suggestion to an immediate necessity.

Biden is clearly not all there. He hasn’t been for some time, and it’s only getting worse. The constant water carrying, excuses for his fumbles and gaffes, and straight-up denial of reality is starting to look and feel an awful lot like elder abuse. The fact that they can’t win with this man is painfully clear now, and it was that moment of absolute relatability with Trump that told everyone so. It was the moment where Democrats knew they were lying to themselves.

I have no doubt the media will try to memory hole this moment. It makes Trump look too good, but the people who saw it will remember it. They’ll remember it when they walk into the voting booth, too. They’ll remember it along with the economic disaster, rising crime rate, inflation, open border, radical policies, and more.

I’m sure the Democrats are going to try to memory hole a lot of things going forward into November, which is why you should join the VIP Program!
