We’re now in the final days before the election. Vice President Kamala Harris is imploding, and the Democrats don’t seem to have a lot left, and are throwing things up against the wall.  So, of course, you would have more “Russia, Russia, Russia” nonsense.

Among the items in Bob Woodward’s new book is a claim that former President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin multiple times. Now, I believe this about as much as I believe Joe Biden, which is to say not at all. But, of course, Dems and media, desperate to prop up Kamala, are all over it.

CNN’s Jake Tapper just had to ask former UK leader Boris Johnson about it, but I don’t think he got the answer he expected, as our friends at our sister site Twitchy observed. The look on Tapper’s face was glorious, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him struck speechless before.

“Well, I don’t know that’s true,” Johnson said, dismissively.

“What I can tell our viewers is that when I had dealings with President Trump over Russia — like when the Russians poisoned people in the UK — it was actually the Trump administration that really, you know, over, they exceeded expectations. They expelled 60 Russian spies. It was the Trump administration that actually gave Ukrainians lethal weaponry — the Javelin missiles — to use against Putin’s troops.” (As opposed to Barack Obama not wanting to do that.)

“I’d be interested to know what those conversations contained,” Johnson said. “If indeed they took place.” Translation? I don’t believe this for a second.

Tapper looked like he swallowed his face, then he said he would be interested as well.

Bottom line? Enough already with this nonsense.

Hillary Clinton helped promote the “Russia, Russia, Russia” nonsense. It failed. It’s not going to work again.

Let’s review. In addition to what Johnson just said, there are also all kinds of other actions that show how nonsensical this is. As Trump himself noted on the “Flagrant” podcast this week, for example, he tried to get the EU to stop relying on Russian oil, telling them we’re protecting you from Russia and you’re dealing with them. Then, he put sanctions on Nord Stream 2 against Russia.

They laughed at him, but he was proven right that it was a bad idea. Joe Biden lifted the sanctions. Then Russia went into Ukraine. It was Biden who folded and showed weakness to Russia, not Trump.

That may be one of the few times a CNN audience has been treated to the truth on the issue.

Tapper also asked Johnson about comments that Biden supposedly made about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him a “bad effing guy.” Notice the difference in how Johnson responds to that. He says well, sometimes, in the process, there is intemperate language. Translation? It’s completely believable to him, although he does give him a little out to say that, ultimately, the U.S. will uphold the alliance.

People enjoyed Tapper getting schooled.
