PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — The Illinois Department of Labor announced on Friday it has reached a settlement agreement with Elevate Trampoline Park.
According to a news release from IDOL, the agreement addresses safety concerns and makes improvements at Elevate’s Illinois locations in Peoria, East Peoria and Milan.
In March 2024, Elevate’s Milan location allegedly violated a stop order that was imposed by IDOL’s Amusement Rides and Attraction Safety Division after an inspection. The stop prohibited the use of the main trampoline court and corrective actions that needed to be taken.
During a re-inspection in May, IDOL said the Milan location allegedly was still using the main trampoline court despite the stop order.

The new agreement will have Elevate introduce upgraded safety measures and new attractions to cater to visitors of all ages. The new soft play areas for younger children also meet all the state’s safety requirements.
Elevate will also pay civil penalties to the Illinois Department of Labor.
“Public safety is always IDOL’s top priority when we’re inspecting amusement rides and attractions,” Illinois Department of Labor Director Jane Flanagan said. “This settlement agreement ensures these Elevate Trampoline Park locations in Illinois will comply with the safety regulations in place to protect visitors.”
IDOL annually inspects amusement rides and attractions open to the public to ensure they meet safety standards.
