Because we’ve tried, tested, and investigated a lot of Amazon products over the years—sheets, towels, mattresses, you name it!—we know the best early Prime Day home deals when we see them.

In fact, we’re so intimately familiar with everything the mega retailer is marking down at any given moment, we can tell you exactly which deals are worth your time and which to skip. Below, find the Amazon Prime Day Deals we recommend this season, because we’ve done the work and put them to the test! Read on for top picks.

Cleaning Prime Day Home Deals

Cordless vacuums? Check. Robot vacuums? Check. Give the surfaces in your home the care they need with exceptional deals on some of our favorite cleaning machines. While you’re here, be sure to snag an air purifier or a fan to make sure your air is just as clean as your floors.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim+ Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

It wouldn’t be Prime Day without at least a dozen cordless vacuum deals. Editor-beloved home tech brand Dyson rarely runs sales, so when we see them slashing prices around this time of year, we know it’s time to hop on it. When she tested the V12 for our best vacuums for hardwood floors story, contributor Terri Williams had this to say about the V12, which is currently even more competitively priced than last Prime Day: “The Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Stick Vacuum has an angled laser that detects a surprising amount of dust particles on the floor. And if that’s not enough, the luxe Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner has a color-coded LCD screen to reveal the types of particles being sucked up by the deep suction motor and passing through the detangling motorbar cleaner head.” You can get it now for 16% off!

BISSELL Little Green Multi-Purpose Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner, Green, 1400B

One of our favorite items on the Prime Day sales list (and perhaps the one with the cutest name) is the Little Green machine from Bissell. Think of this as the little floor cleaner that could. This tiny but mighty cleaner is portable and can get your carpets and upholstery on furniture looking as good as new (more than 80,000 customers agree). Your living room will thank you for this purchase.

Levoit Vital 200S-P Air Purifier

Here’s another deal for the pet lovers. This Levoit model was specifically designed to suck up dander and pet hair—as well as all the other stuff that air purifiers can crush like VOCs and smoke. It’s smart, which means you can program a cleaning schedule or shut off time and it can be controlled via your phone. It also gets points for having eco-friendly, price conscious washable filters.

Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP10 Air Purifier and Fan

Another one of the best Amazon Prime Day deals we’ve seen on a Dyson product so far happens to be a 2-in-1 air purifier and fan, perfect for the summer months and beyond. While we haven’t tested this exact model, we have tested the similarly over achieving Dyson fan, humidifier and purifier for our best air purifiers round up and Rachel had great feedback on it: “When the air quality has dipped below ideal levels, it doesn’t seem to take much time for the purifier to do the job once I turn up the fan speed (it should be noted that this model also has an auto purify setting that will kick into high gear if the quality dips, but it is a little loud for my taste so I tend to keep it on a lower setting).”

Kitchen Prime Day Home Deals

One room in the home that shouldn’t be ignored when it comes to all the things Prime Day has to offer: the kitchen. Home chefs and kitchenware aficionados will be happy to hear that there are lots of good deals being cooked up this time around—there are markdowns on appliances and gadgets abound. Top rated coffeemakers, non stick or stainless steel cookware, air fryers and more are in the mix—or will be once the event kicks off on October 8—so keep scrolling for something special. Don’t skip a Prime Day sale must-have like a blender or a standing mixer (though we’d recommend holding off on a KitchenAid until prices drop).

Keurig K-Duo Plus Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker

Whether you like it iced or piping hot, this single-serve Keurig coffee maker is here to help. Terri named it her favorite single-serve machine on the market. You can choose your cup size and brew it perfectly with just the touch of a button.

Ninja AF101 Air Fryer

A perennial Amazon Prime Day favorite, this Ninja air fryer makes it easy to cook, crisp or dehydrate your favorite foods.

Café Specialty Drip Coffee Maker

One of our favorite coffeemakers is also currently discounted at a hearty 23% off. Not only did our contributor Terri Williams say it’s a great match for “the coffee drinker who also adores all things well designed,” she also praised its wi-fi capabilities, its superior brewing, and its programmable features.

Tech & Home Entertainment Prime Day Sales

When else are you going to see deals on hands-free Apple AirPods and Bluetooth smart speakers, as well as home security and Smart TVs? Check out the top tech Prime Day deals we’re eyeing (though still holding out for a great Samsung Frame offer!).

Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation)

One of our favorite tech deals so far, you can move from the bedroom to the Zoom with a solid 24% off these cordless Airpod Pros (or replace that pair you dropped down the subway stairs or left in the washing machine). After all, it wouldn’t be Prime Day without an Apple deal.

Apple AirPods (3rd Generation) Wireless Ear Buds

With an upgraded, more rounded design and an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, the 3rd gen set is perfect if you want to level up your listening experience.

Google Nest Doorbell (2nd Gen)

If you’ve been meaning to finally invest in a video doorbell for your smart home, we recommend hopping on this 44% off price tag! From a design perspective alone, we prefer it to the Ring but the Google Nest camera is battery powered for easy installation and upkeep, and you’ll (hopefully) never miss a package delivery again.

Amazon Fire TV 55″ Omni QLED Series 4K UHD Smart TV

You can now save $160 on this smart, wifi-enabled TV, which promises a high-quality picture and connectivity to Alexa. Other sizes are also on sale now.

Anker Magnetic Portable Charger 5K

Everyone could probably use one of these. And if you have a compatible case, you can use the charger’s magnets to wirelessly connect it to an iPhone 14 or 15. Plus, this is the lowest price we’ve spotted on it all year.

How does Prime Day work?

A Prime membership is required to take advantage of all the best Prime Day deals. Luckily, it is very easy to become an Amazon Prime member. They offer a free 30-day trial for newbies, and after that it’s $14.99 per month or $139 per year to take advantage of fast free delivery, Prime Video, and all the other benefits the mega retailer offers.

Now, as for the deals. Some last the full 48 hours, others are what they call “lightning deals” and they usually don’t last more than a few hours, so you have to act fast to take advantage. New offers on trending products roll in pretty consistently.

We recommend doing a few things to keep your sanity in check:
