Now that the elites have managed to push Joe Biden out of the 2024 race, that raises the speculation about who will be the eventual nominee. Some Democrats immediately endorsed Kamala Harris and some delegates have already pledged themselves to her.

But the big glaring sign that all may not be right in Oz, is that Barack Obama and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have not yet endorsed her. That’s a big loud sign at a time when if it’s going to be her, they need to come together quickly. Indeed, Obama said he was sure they were going to come together and make a great choice, indicating he didn’t think that the decision had been made.

One has to wonder if he’s not behind Harris, who are he and Pelosi, or any of the others not endorsing Harris, looking to instead? Some of the other folks who have been speculated about, such as Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and California Governor Gavin Newsom, have weighed in, with Whitmer saying she isn’t running and Newsom appearing at least for the moment to endorse Harris

This news and the fact the convention is in Chicago raised the talk again of Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton’s name has been bandied about by some.

But Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) made an interesting comment on MSNBC while talking to Joy Reid. Reid appeared excited that it could be Harris and Crockett said she was all in for her, and would not be working for anyone else if they tried to shove her aside.

So she thinks Kamala is the most/only one qualified? That says how up a creek without a paddle the Democrats are.

Then she dished on how there are Democrats behind the scenes who are saying it can’t be Harris after a question from Reid. Reid asked, “Are you confident, um, that there is no way to stand in the way of Harris being the nominee? Seems like she’s getting all these state party endorsements?”

“I am not confident at all,” Crockett said. “I do know that, you know, behind closed doors, while I won’t name names, that there were people that were absolutely like, ‘It can’t be the vice president.’ So in one breath, they were saying, you know, ‘The president needs to be out.’ In the next breath, they were also saying, ‘It can’t be her.'”

Add that to the non-endorsement of the elites, and despite the fact that Harris has gotten some delegates, one has to think there’s another shoe out there about to be dropped shortly.
