Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki and her husband, two-time NBA All-Star David Lee, have sold their über luxe Miami penthouse to an as-yet-to-be-revealed buyer for a whopping $37 million. The sale comes six months after the pair put the residence, which sits atop the lavish Palazzo Del Sol building, on the market for $42.5 million. They purchased the aerie back in 2021 following the birth of their first child, Olivia. Although the elite athletes did not receive their full asking price, they are still walking away from the transaction with a pocket full of cash, as the couple nearly doubled the $18.7 million they paid for the exclusive digs. Wozniacki and Lee parted ways with another unit in the same building in 2021 for $16.3 million.

Palazzo Del Sol is located on Fisher Island, which is known as one of the country’s wealthiest locales. The man-made isle is only accessible to residents via ferry and was once home to celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, the Vanderbilts, and Julia Roberts.

Wozniacki and Lee’s former unit boasts 7,000 square feet of living area and 5,000 square feet of outdoor space across two terraces—one of which provides an up-close view of the surrounding waterfront, while the other features a fire pit and a hot tub.

The five-bedroom abode is filled with luxurious features, like the custom marble media walls, double height ceilings, white oak floors, and the custom chef’s kitchen, which includes high-end German-made stainless steel appliances and an Art Deco-inspired island and hood. All of these design details were additions of their “budget-less renovation” to the home, which they initially purchased as a raw space, according to the Wall Street Journal.
