Taylor Swift literally danced with her dress unbuttoned during her Friday, October 18, Eras Tour concert in Miami.
As Swift, 34, began singing “But Daddy I Love Him” at the top of her The Tortured Poets Department set, she kept one hand on the back of her Vivienne Westwood corset. The pop star held a white microphone in the other, continuing to sing the words to the song — including “dancing with my dress unbuttoned.”
Swift appeared to try one-handedly fastening the gown’s zipper without missing a beat of the lyrics or choreography, per social media footage. She quickly signaled to her backup dancers for assistance.
“I need help,” Swift said, stepping in front of the line of performers.
Kam Saunders and another colleague lept into action, unzipping Swift’s frock and retightening the fabric before securing it in place.
“Thanks guys,” Swift added before running off to belt, “But now I’m running with my dress unbuttoned.”
Friday’s concert was the kickoff for the final North American leg of the Eras Tour, in which Swift debuted new outfits during her Fearless, Reputation and acoustic sections, respectively.

For Fearless, Swift rocked a silver-and-blue flapper-style dress that appeared to feature the print of a butterfly. Meanwhile, Swift’s new Reputation bodysuit included a gold snake pattern instead of the usual red. Lastly, Swift performed her surprise songs — “Tim McGraw” x “Timeless” and “This Is My Trying” x “Daylight” — in a pink-and-blue multicolored high-low dress.
The concert, Swift’s first of three in Miami, also featured an array of special guests inside Hard Rock Stadium. Swift added “Florida!!!” to the TTPD section, which she performed alongside Florence + The Machine’s Florence Welch. There was also a star-studded crowd, including Hoda Kotb, Serena Williams and Tom Brady. Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce’s family, including his mother and brother, also attended.
