Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed some postseason baseball while keeping it low key on a date night in New York City.
The couple were spotted in a private box at Yankee Stadium on Monday, October 14, for the first game of the American League Championship Series between the Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees. Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, both rocked hats and dark outfits for the event, seemingly trying to keep a subtle profile.
Kelce and Swift’s trip to catch a baseball game comes weeks after his teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, attended the Yankees game against the Kansas City Royals last week for the American League Division Series. (The Yankees ultimately defeated the Royals and advanced to the next round of the playoffs.)
Swift and Kelce have been taking the Big Apple by storm as the football player, 35, enjoys his time off during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week. On Friday, October 11, the pair went on a double date with pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at The Corner Store restaurant in SoHo. Kelce and Swift stepped out in coordinated outfits.
The pop star, 34, dazzled in a Gucci corset top with a black skirt and matching ankle boots. She completed the look with a camel-colored Ralph Lauren coat and black Dior saddle bag. Kelce, for his part, opted for a black Jacquemus shirt that featured a horse on it. He paired the printed shirt with coordinating trousers.
The following day, Swift and Kelce enjoyed a romantic night out at Torrisi restaurant in New York City. The singer donned a gold velvet minidress with a corset-style bodice, black platform sandals and a black Roberto Cavalli bag. Kelce kept it cool in a blue polo-style shirt, khaki pants and white sneakers.
Travis previously teased to his brother, Jason Kelce, that he had some exciting plans during his time off. Jason, 36, questioned whether or not Travis was “going to tell anybody” what he had on the calendar, but the tight end remained coy.
“No, but if any of it comes out I’m sure we’ll talk about it on the show,” Travis responded.
Before the Chiefs’ break in the action, Travis and the team defeated the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium on October 7. Swift attended the home game to cheer on her boyfriend. The Chiefs’ next game isn’t until Sunday, October 20, when they face off against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
Swift will most likely not be in attendance at the 49ers game as she is resuming the final stretch of her Eras Tour. The record-breaking tour, which wrapped up its European leg in August, resumes in Miami on Friday, October 18. Following the Florida concerts, Swift will make stops in New Orleans, Indianapolis and Toronto before her last shows in Vancouver in December.
